Assistant Professor (1 Position), Division of Yoga & Spirituality
Requirements:
- Completed Masters Degree in Sanskrit/Yoga Shastra with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized University.
- Candidates with UGC-NET/SLET /Ph.D. will be minimum qualification to apply.
- Ability to teach Yoga texts, communicative Sanskrit, Fundamentals of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)
- The candidate should possess good communication & teaching skills. Desirable: Grant writing, UG/PG curriculum development, and knowledge of meditation & spiritual practices. Female candidates will be encouraged to apply.
- Preference will be given to female candidates in view of the administrative requirements of the University.
Nature of Work:
- Teaching Sanskrit, Vedic chanting, & Yoga texts at UG/PG levels.
- Mentoring students & promoting Sanskrit and IKS-related initiatives.
- Supporting Departmental administration, curriculum design, & academic events.
