- They should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject.

- General category: 45% aggregate in the above subjects.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD): 40% aggregate.
