Duration

  • Ph.D. Course, Full Time shall be for a minimum duration of three years including course work and a maximum of six years. Part- Time shall be for a minimum duration of Four years including course work and a maximum of seven years.
  • Under special circumstances, provision for extension beyond the above limits, subject to a maximum of one year, shall be granted on the recommendation of the High-Power Committee and approved by the Vice Chancellor.
  • The women candidates and Persons with Disability (more than 40% disability) may be allowed a relaxation of two years for Ph.D. in the maximum duration, including Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire duration of Ph.D. course.

Eligibility

The eligibility requirement for candidates to get admitted to the Ph.D. Course shall include the following:

General eligibility requirements for Part-time/Full-time Ph.D. Course.

  • Masters degree in the field of Commerce and Management from a recognized University with Minimum 55% aggregate marks.
  • During course-work, classes will be conducted on all the working days of S-VYASA Global City Campus, Bangalore. Minimum attendance of 90% is to be followed in every subject.

Part-Time Ph.D. Course

  • During course-work, Classes will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays at S-VYASA University. Minimum attendance of 90% is to be followed in every subject.
  • Part time Ph.D. will be allowed provided all the conditions mentioned in the extant Ph.D. Regulations are met.
  • All the part time Ph.D. candidates have to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent organization before getting admitted to the course.
