Overview
Welcome to S-VYASA University Library, a Gateway to knowledge resources. At present the library has a collection of over 2846 Volumes with 641 Titles. It magazines and daily newspapers. It caters to the needs of more than 500+ undergraduate, postgraduate staff and students. The library is fully automated; it has One spacious reading halls and can accommodate 150 users at any time. the library is growing continuously on an everyday basis.
It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing needs of the students, faculty and researchers in their intellectual pursuits. It is a centralized and automated library predominantly related to Engineering, Technology & allied subjects.The major objective of our library is to provide ‘Right Information to the Right Reader at the Right Time'
The library operations are managed by the latest version of Koha (Integrated Library Management System Software). The library is upgraded with barcode Technology .The library is well equipped with all the modern facilities books, & magazines, etc. Online Public Access Catalogue is accessible all over the campus. The library follows the 23rd Edition of Dewey Decimal Scheme of Classification, MARC-21 format for bibliographic data. Books are arranged on the shelves in numerical order from 000-999.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Entry & Identification
- All students and staff are required to sign in at the entry register upon entering the library.
- Students must wear their ID cards at all times.
- ID card is non-transferable; using someone else’s ID is a punishable offense.
- Personal books and other belongings are not allowed inside the library, except for notebooks/laptops with permission.
- Do not enter the library with your baggage; keep them on the wooden shelves at the Gate Counter.
Book Borrowing & Return Policies
- Books are issued for personal use only.
- Borrowed books must be returned within 15 days.
- A fine of Rs. 15/- per day (excluding Sundays and holidays) will be charged for late returns.
- The student must replace or pay for any lost, damaged, or defaced books.
- Any mutilation, loss of pages, or damage discovered upon return will be assessed, and the cost of the latest edition will be charged.
- Loss of a borrowed book must be reported to the librarian immediately.
Library Conduct & Discipline
- Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
- Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited.
- Sleeping, eating, and having refreshments inside the library is not allowed.
- Eatables and drinks are not allowed inside the library.
- Students must cooperate and interact gently with library staff.
- Any act of indiscipline will lead to the cancellation of membership and/or serious disciplinary action.
Compliance & Notices
- Students must regularly check library noticeboards (inside and outside the library).
- Students and staff must clear all library dues to obtain a Clearance Certificate upon completion of studies or duty.
- Students must clear all library dues on time to receive their Hall Ticket/Admit Card before semester exams.
- Violation of library rules will result in strict disciplinary action.
- Proper care must be taken of library books and journals.
